Week of October 22

• Bible Story:  Daniel and the Lions  (Daniel 6)
• Letter of the Week:  "Dd"
• Math: 5 Day PK: Position and Direction
•           3 Day PK: Sort and Classify
• Homework:  This week you get to pick a story of your choice and make a book report.  The book report form is in your homework folder or was put in your book bag.  There is a space for your child to write his/her name.  Then help your child write the title of the book.  Next there are some faces with a smile, straight line, and a frown.  Have your child color the circle that best describes how he/she liked the story.  In the framed box at the bottom of the page, have your child draw a picture of his/her favorite part of the story.  Encourage him/her to use at least 3 colors in the drawing.  Bring the report back on your next school day.  Have fun with it.  I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of stories your children enjoy.  Thanks for helping your student with this opportunity.
