Operation Christmas Child: We begin gathering items for our shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child on Wednesday, October 14. We will collect items until our packing party on November 12th. Items that can be donated include: school supplies (pencils, crayons, pens, etc.), toys (stuffed animals, cars, puzzles, balls, etc.), candy (packed in baggies, no chocolate), gum, non-liquid hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, combs, brushes, etc.), personal note and pictures.
Samaritan's Purse requests a $7.00 donation per box for shipping. For more information contact Amy Thorton at 420-6171 or amyt@blcbls.org.
Spirit Wear Thursdays: Don't forget to show your school spirit on Thursdays. You may wear a BL shirt with a logo, Fall Fest shirt etc. with a free dress bottom. If you don't have any of those, then wear a regular standard of dress shirt and a free dress bottom within the free dress guidelines. Let's show our SPIRIT!!!!
