Let’s Get Ready: Tools you will
need to do your work.
a.
Pencil
b.
Crayons and/or Colored Pencils
c.
Scissors
d.
Glue Stick

Manipulatives (These are items that your child
can count, sort, make patterns with, and so on.
For example: color crayons, Easter eggs, erasers, paper clips, clothes
pins, legos – be creative.

Journal– On a piece of paper
draw a picture of something that begins with the “Ww” sound.

Sharing- Tell your grown up
about something that begins with Ww.

Explore: Look in your homework folder to find the paper
titled “Can Wind Move It? Take it out. Have a grow up read the instructions. You will need a straw. PLEASE do not blow on the people in your house or your
pets. Do the experiments and record your
results. If you like, try to predict
what will happen before you try to move the object by blowing through your
straw.

Bible Story: Review the story of Jesus washing the
disciples’ feet. (John 13:1-17)
a.
Talk about feet.
Ask, “What did your feet do today?
How did your hands help today?
b.
Find new and creative ways to use your feet. Walk backwards, tiptoe, slide sideways, walk
on a pretend tightrope, or march stepping high.
c.
Trace around your child’s shoe, foot, or sock. Use the outline to create a person or an
animal.
d.
Prayer:
Thank you Jesus for my hands and feet.
Help me use them to be a helper for You.
Be with my friends and family; keep them safe and healthy. We know that you are watching over us,
protecting us. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
